The PC Support & Network Administration program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure, manage, and support an enterprise network as well as to troubleshoot and repair PCs.
The program provides a solid foundation to sit for the CompTIA
A+, Network+, Security+, and Linux+ examinations as well as for the more advanced vendor-specific Microsoft MCP, and Cisco CCNA certifications.
The PC Support & Network Administration program combines extensive hands-on computer experience with theory, along with a business component, providing graduates with the edge needed to enter and compete in today’s highly technical workplace.

Computer Hardware Students learn to troubleshoot and repair hardware problems as well as to rebuild a PC from the ground up, install the operating system, and connect it to a network. They also learn to install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft client side operating systems such as Professional and XP. Provides a solid foundation for the CompTIA A+ Core certification exam.
Network Technologies Provides students with a comprehensive foundation in network concepts and terminology including local and wide area networks, routing and internetworking, application support protocols, and network operating systems.
Network Operating Systems Emphasis is on the administration and management of files, processes, memory, user accounts, and input/output devices of major network operating systems such as Windows 2003 Server and Microsoft Windows /XP. Provides a solid foundation for CompTIA A+ Operating System exam as well as for the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) 70-290 and 70-270 exams.
Windows Infrastructure Students learn to install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot
the following network operating services: DHCP server, DNS server, WINS server, and RAS server. This course provides a solid foundation for the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) 70-291 exam.
Network Security Provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to secure and safeguard network applications and services from the threat and dangers of unauthorized access. Sound preparation for the CompTIA Security+ certification examination.
Linux Operating System Students learn to install, configure, and manage the Linux operating system and its resources. Excellent preparation for the CompTIA Linux+ certification examination.
Cisco Networking Students study routers, switches, gateways and physical connections of networks, IOS basics, protocols, TCP/IP suites, IP addressing, IP configurations, and basic traffic management of a network. Sound preparation for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
